My Promise in the New Covenant

In the Old Covenant promises were given in future tenses. It was required that you follow the statues and obey of orders to be granted the blessings. Deut 28 talks of the reward we will receive if we do the requirement of God. Vrs 2 says “and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God”
In the New Covenant our promises are stated in the past tenses, meaning they are already accomplished, especially in Christ for us. Ephesians 1:3 says “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”
